Over the course of almost 100 years, Hansen Yuncken has been a long-term contributor to the development and profile of the Australian building industry and the urban fabric of Melbourne and other cities. Hansen Yuncken operates throughout Australia and has contributed in senior and committee roles on organisations such as the Master Builders, the Australian Institute of Building, the Property Council, the National Association of Women in Construction and the Green Building Council of Australia.

The exhibition is a celebration of Hansen Yuncken’s extraordinary heritage, its iconic projects and the people who have shaped the firm. It is also a celebration of Hansen Yunken’s long-standing partnership with the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, in particular the Hansen Yuncken Prize, established in 1990 in honor of construction alumnus Michael Hansen. The Hansen’s and their company have, in fact, been engaged with the Faculty’s construction programs since their inception in the 1950s, as a key industry advisor, supporter and employer of our graduates.
