The Inaugural Parnell Heritage Renovation and Conservation Workshop
The Best of Both Worlds – How to protect built heritage and cater to modern needs
Join us and leading minds in the field – including conservation architects Jeremy Salmond, Adam Wild and Antony Matthews, developer Athol McQuilkan, heritage interiors specialist Stephen Cashmore, renovation materials specialists Bungalow and Villa and more – to discuss and debate these questions and their practical implications for those involved in renovating and conserving heritage and character properties.
We will be showcasing the recent renovation of Emerald Lodge, an NZHPT Category One building in Tohunga Crescent, Parnell. The owners and their architect will present a case study of the renovation, and give their perspective on the merits of, and issues involved in, renovating a heritage property.
The workshop will be of particular interest to owners and developers of heritage and character properties, architects, designers, builders, engineers and all those who care about built heritage. This event kindly sponsored by Bungalow and Villa, specialists in renovation materials, and the Hobson Community Board of Auckland City.
Thanks to our sponsors this is a FREE event, but places will be strictly limited. Bookings are open now, so register at the website to secure your place.
