Learn more about the dramatic history of the stretch of waterfront marked by Ports of Auckland’s magnificent red fence. Highlights include the Britomart Point Stone, the last remaining rock from Britomart Point where Auckland’s founding ceremony was held in 1840, the Rainbow Warrior Memorial near Marsden Wharf and conclusion of the tour at the Port’s observation deck overlooking the Fergusson container terminal.
The walk, up to an hour long, is suitable for all ages and fitness abilities. Bookings are not required.
