It is a pleasure to announce that Cameron Sinclair, co-founder and CEO (‘Chief Eternal Optimist’) of Architecture for Humanity will be giving a free public lecture in Christchurch on Thursday 28 July 2011.

Architecture for Humanity is a charitable organisation that seeks architectural solutions to humanitarian crisis and brings professional design services to communities in need. Cameron Sinclair has already visited Christchurch since the earthquake of 22 February, when he spoke at TEDxEQCHCH in May. If you missed out then or you want to hear more from Cameron, please join us on 28 July.

Cameron Sinclair lectures regularly at architecture schools and universities in the United States and abroad, and has spoken at a number of international business and design conferences on sustainable development and post disaster reconstruction. He is speaking in Christchurch while he is the University of Auckland School of Architecture and Planning International Architect-in-Residence for 2011.

The residency programme is generously supported by The Warren Trust, GIB, and The Block Foundation and Sinclair’s visit to Christchurch has received additional support from the NZIA Canterbury Branch and CPIT.

Limited seating available.
