“STREET WORKS, an initiative of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA NSW), was a competition to create temporary installations that transform under-utilised public spaces into vibrant places.
The 67 entries we received from landscape architects, architects, artists & designers from 8 countries are currently on exhibition in Customs House, Sydney. Five of these will be realised in public spaces around the City of Sydney, launching on 21 October as part of the Sydney Architecture Festival and in place until mid January next year.”
67 entries: Ground floor Customs House until November 11th.
5 entries: installed around Sydney until mid January (locations not specified).
The list of winners is available on the STREET WORKS website.
