Flex your thoughts! Join Kerstin Thompson, Donald Bates, Nigel Bertram and Jane Williams to discuss the flexible workplace with Nareen Young, CEO of Diversity Council Australia.

There is increasing evidence of the benefits of flexible workplaces, for employees and employers, for men and women. But what is a flexible workplace? How might we build flexibility into architectural practices of all scales? And how can this contribute to developing more resilient models of practice that are able to respond nimbly to changes in the context we practice in?

Nareen Young, CEO of the Diversity Council Australia (DCA), presents the findings of DCA’s recent reports Get Flexible: Mainstreaming Flexible Work in Australian Business and Men Get Flexible! Mainstreaming Flexible Work in Australian Business.

Different scales, different practice types, different experiences. Drawing on the diversity of architects in our own panel line-up, an ensuing discussion between Nareen, the panel members and the audience will explore the potential for architecture and architects.
