RTA Studio’s Ironbark office building on Karangahape Road in central Auckland was the big winner at last week’s local architecture awards. The complex won awards in the commercial, sustainable, and urban design categories. It contains 938sqm of retail, 3885sqm of office space, as well as a pedestrian plaza. The cladding is GRC (glass-reinforced cement), and 95 cars can be stored below ground with a car stacker.
