Editor volume 5 issue 2: Dr Kyla McFarlane
For this issue, we are particularly interested in art’s relationship to ‘architecture’ as either built form or metaphor, including art/architectural collaborations and crossovers. We welcome proposals for collaborative texts, artists’ pages, critical reviews, writing by artists, interviews, articles and discussions.
The Magazine Advisory Committee comprises: Angela Brophy, Rosemary Forde, Brad Haylock, Phip Murray, Zara Stanhope, Lisa Radford, Ulanda Blair and Tessa Dwyer.
Please note: Word limits: Reviews are restricted to a word limit of 500 words for solo projects or 750-1000 words for larger exhibitions, essays and features should be 1500-2000 words. un Magazine does not seek to publish catalogue essays, university essays or exhibition texts, and does not publish self-generated reviews by the artist or galleries represented.
What you should submit:
• A completed Application Form
• 100 word outline of your proposed writing or an example, mock-up or description of a proposed artwork
• Full curriculum vitae
• 2-5 images (as small jpeg files only) if relevant
Please provide 1-2 samples of your writing with your proposal if you are proposing an article for the magazine.
These can be weblinks to previously published articles, word documents, or pdfs of texts. There is no
requirement to send writing samples if you are proposing a review, artist’s pages or interview.
