Ozscrapers - a very busy forum into a lot more than just towers. 400 members and 34,000 messages including many with photos. This is the place to go when you want to see pics of rumoured new buildings.Old posts are HERE.
walking melbourne - melbourne architecture forum.

about - vetted links to some small architecture bulletin boards.
buildernews - web access into many newsgroups related to architecture. Try alt.architecture first.
missarchy - a webite for young women in architecture. Contains some relevant articles and a forum. [07/04]

ArchEire - irish site with several forums including a popular one on Eileen Gray.
Archinect - busy chat site with some intelligent comment(!).
ArchRecord2 - a fairly busy talk site for graduates.
death by architecture discussion - new discussion board on dba.
Design Community - a busy and varied general discussion run by Great Buildings Online
e-architect forums - a busy selection of forums at this US site, they tend to be slanted towards practice. Great place to go to watch U.S. graduates whinging about their US$50,000 salaries.
global architecture forums - varied discussions and some reprinted news articles. Suffers from many pop-up ads.
indian architecture - a busy board.
modern architecture - fairly quiet forum.
new york times - go to forums>arts>architecture - not as busy as it once was - american discussion - free registration required.
SkewArch - U.S. site with OK discussion board ( also contemporary architects' photos and books )
Skyscraper.org - this is a very chatty site, often veering a long way from architecture. Very busy though. Postings can contain image files so pages can take a while to load.
Talkin' About Architecture - a new Yahoo Club (membership required).
Volume5 - U.S. site. Regular online chats with well known architects. - not visited.

cad - zebra's computers and CAD page contains forums.

buildtalk - U.S site giving webaccess into construction newsgroups.

cohousing discussion - american site dedicated to collaborative housing models.

e-design - general discussion run by Great Buildings Online.

H-urban - Melbourne University-based academic discussion.
